Centre Rules

GENERAL INFORMATION

The following is to be applied in conjunction with the Netball Rules see Netball Rules section on this website.

GAME TIME

Games last 40 minutes, games will be started at the scheduled time

NOMINATION

As an introductory offer there is no nomination fee

MATCH FEES

Match Fees include umpires fees and GST
Claremont Netball  - $70/team/game
5 -a -side netball $50/team/game

LAST GAME BOND

Is equal to a match fee and is made at start of each season
This payment is redeemed as a free game in the last game of the regular season if your team has not forfeited prior.

FORFEITS

Any forefeits result in loss of the Last Game Bond.
Last Game Bond must be reinstated after a forefeit.
Teams forfeiting at any time will lose their LGB and will have to reinstate it the following week
Teams forfeiting at any time will need to cover any amount of lost match fees incurred by the centre for that match
Teams will lose 5 points for forfeits
Teams who win on forfeit will receive 4 points plus bonus points if they pay and play a scratch match organised by the centre

SCRATCH MATCHES

Teams who have been forefeited against must PAY and PLAY any scheduled "scratch match" that management organises in order to receive points.

Teams who do not play scratch matches will receive no points

FILL INS

Fill ins from other teams must fill Wing positions first WA or WD unless there is not a full team including the fill ins. If there are only 5 or 6 players including the fill ins, then the team may play one fill in on the wing if they choose.

Fill Ins can not play their preferred position ie a Goal Shooter can not play GS for the team they are filling in for. These policies are in place to try and reward teams and players that commit on a weekly basis

FINALS ELIGIBILITY

In order to maintain the integrity of the regular season players must play at least 5 of the teams games for that season. Teams must play at least one third of the games for the season to be eligible. This does not include any BYES or Loss on Forfeits. It is up to the captains to tick off and register all players on the team cards. Win on forfeits count as games played.

OUTSTANDING MONEY BY SEASONS END  

Teams will not play finals if money is owing to the Perth Indoor Sports

All outstanding money must be paid prior to finals.

ARRIVING LATE TO START

Teams will lose goals for arriving late. 1 goal per minute.

Arriving 9 minutes or more late will result in forefeit.

No teams will receive any pro rata discounts for either themselves or opposition arriving late.

UNIFORM

All team members must wear the same colour and shade of tops. REFER TO NETBALL

RULES

For each incorrect uniform item, teams will lose 1 goals to their opposition up to a maximum of 6 goals per game.

SUSPENDING AND REMOVING TEAMS

Perth Indoor Sports Centre Management reserves the right to suspend or remove any teams for poor behaviour or failure to pay fees.

Teams suspended or removed are not entitled to any refunds and will need to pay any outstanding money
